Located in the Historic Jefferson-Chalmers business district our communities are in the center of the East side neighborhood. Listed on the National Register of Historic places in 2004, this community continues to make history. Jefferson-Chalmers has recently undergoing a beautiful new streetscape project that began in April of this past year. This project helped to make us the area's newest walkable community furnished with dedicated parking and bike lanes that run through to Belle Isle and Detroit's Riverwalk. Named after U.S President Thomas Jefferson, a friend of Judge Augustus B. Woodward, Jefferson Avenue extends some 63.71 miles and is one of five major avenues.
